Victory at Roland Garros saw Roger Federer join an elite group of tenis players. This elite group consists of player who have won all four Grand Slam titles. Federer won his first French Open and completed a career Grand Slam by easing past Sweden’s Robin Soderling 6-1 7-6(1) 6-4.

The Swiss dethroned Spanish rival Rafael Nadal after ten and a half months at the top with his epic five-set win over American Andy Roddick for a 15th Grand Slam crown at the All England Club.
Federer has amassed 11,220 points as he earned a 238th week atop the rankings.
The currently injured Nadal has 10,735 and British Wimbledon semi-finalist Andy Murray is third on 9,450 points. The brave Roddick remained in sixth place, with now 5,540 points.
