In 2000, she successfully passed the Horipro Talent Scout Caravan audition. She first achieved widespread recognition for her starring roles in the short film Justice; in 2004 she rose to stardom as Aki in the TV series Crying Out Love, In the Center of the World.

Ayase Haruka Career

On March 24, 2006 she released her first single, titled "Period" (ピリオド, Periodo?), the lyrics of which were written by Kaori Mochida from Every Little Thing and Takeshi Kobayashi. Kobayashi also composed and arranged the music, as well as producing the single. She has also released two photo books: Birth in 2001 and Heroine in 2004. Ayase Haruka is a gravure idol, singer, and actress. She has gained attention for her role in the 2004 dorama Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu.

Mai Phuong Thuy

Mai Phương Thúy (August 6, 1988) was crowned the 10th Miss Vietnam at the Vinpearl Resort in Nha Trang, Vietnam on August 26, 2006. At 1.84m, she is the tallest Miss Vietnam up until now. She represented Vietnam at the Miss World 2006 pageant in Warsaw, Poland on September 30th, in the Asia-Pacific group. She made the first cut In Miss World 2006 by winning the viewers' votes around the world.
She had posed for photographs late in 2007 for the photographer Tran Huy Hoan, the set is described as "nude photos" - perhaps artistic but still risque for a "Miss Vietnam". Tran Huy Hoan has sold oil paintings of a nude lady which bear a likeness to Mai Phương Thúy. She supports numerous social causes, notably the Vietnamese traffic problem. She is the goodwill ambassador for the Asia Injury Prevention Foundation. She studied at Phan Dinh Phung high school and was accepted into the Foreign Trade University and RMIT International University, Vietnam. Mai Phuong Thuy is studying at RMIT Vietnam at the moment. She would have been crowned Miss Vietnam 2008 on August, 2008, in Hoi An, Quang Nam, but she left the Miss Vietnam 2008 contest on August 23, 2008, supposedly due to conflicts with the organizing board.

Born in Otaru, Hokkaidō, Kawamura grew up in Yokohama, Kanagawa and later in Abiko, Chiba. She made her debut in 2003 as a gravure idol. In 2006 she started her career as an actress.
